Position for Underground Mine Shaft Onsetter/banksman
Job Description
Underground Mine Shaft Onsetter/Banksman- Shifts- Pretoria.
Grade 12 .
Certificate Onsetter or Banksman.
Completed Elevator Operator Training
5 years working experience in underground shaft mine .
Valid Driver’s License .
Signal to Hoist Driver to lift, move and place materials into conveyer.
experience in Convey equipment
Arc Welding / Oxy Cutting .
Conduct and enforce pre-use inspections on conveyances .
Ensure efficient housekeeping of equipment (skip, conveyance and all station levels underground)
Operate equipment skip + conveyance.
Perform inspections of equipment skip, conveyance breakdowns and production losses by reporting abnormalities according to procedure
Weekly bell testing .
Provide relevant signals to driver
Responsible for conducting station inspection
Responsible for slinging activities to underground
Responsible for station cleaning and control of material cars .
Transport men, material and explosives if required
work shifts, overtime . Standby and callouts
R25 000- R29 000 subject to companies budget offered/ benefits overtime pay / and shifts allowance, call out allowance 13 check
